right off of the 7 train in L.I.C.
the only building in NYC that's legal to tag up. The owner was a graffiti cleaner and in the 90's decided to use the old factory building as an alternative for kids who vandalize other places. He holds classes for kids who are interested in graffiti and those who help maintain the walls are allowed space to tag up. He also hold events like BBQs, dance battles, and special events for people that used to tag up in the 70's and 80's. |
